In June 2001 the Topiary Art Festival was held in the gardens of Villa Grabau, Numerous artists were involved in creating their works inspired by the villa and its surroundings.

The assigning of the plaque to become part of the circuit of ‘Great Italian Gardens’

On the 30th April 2006 the 30th march of the Lucchesian villas was held, Villa Grabau with its big gardens was one of the stages of the march.
